There’s a Facebook page called “ART’s Automotive Garage” pretending to be Art’s Automotive in Berkeley, CA.

This is not our page and there is no other Art’s Automotive in Berkeley. The images on the Facebook page are stolen from another Art’s Automotive in Washington state.

They are pretending to have hard to find automotive parts in stock. We’ve had several people call in asking about parts they want to order or already have ordered. They usually lure people to the page by pretending to be a helpful person on an automotive forum or group. When someone posts that they are looking for a part, the “helpful person” says something like, “Oh, Art’s Automotive Garage on Facebook has one in stock”.

Don’t fall for it. It’s a scam. Please don’t give them your information or any money.
